With 27 years of experience in the building trade, my journey began with a deep passion for joinery as a teenager. At just 16, I was fortunate to secure a joinery apprenticeship with Hart Builders, where I honed my craft and gained invaluable industry experience. After completing my apprenticeship and working on large-scale construction sites, my interest expanded to encompass all aspects of the building trade. Over the years, I worked with various companies, continuously broadening my expertise and refining my skills. For the past seven to eight years, I have been building my own company, employing skilled tradespeople across multiple disciplines to take on diverse projects. Some of our notable completed projects include the conversion of Longniddry Tennis Club, Musselburgh Tennis Club, and the transformation of an unused toilet block in Roseburn Park for local councils. One project I take particular pride in is the conversion of the flats above the Harrow Inn in Galashiels, where we transformed outdated, low-quality rooms into stunning, high-end living spaces (see photo below).
